How to Travel for Cheap Started on: February 5, 2012, 9:13 pm |
ladydiFebruary 5, 2012, 9:56 pm - Hey! My last big trip was walking the Camino de Santiago, and I SWEAR registering as a peregrino (you DO NOT have to be at all religious) is the absolute best way to travel in europe for cheap.<br> There are special pilgrim hostels that charge on avg 3-6 euros a night (some are more, like 10, but that is still way cheaper than a normal hostel), and are in all the major cities of spain, portugal, and I think france as well (worth asking). |
RCidMarch 1, 2012, 12:43 am - I have a simple advice: RYAN AIR if you are travelling in Europe. I thought it was a joke or something when I bought a ticket from Maastrich to London for 1 Euro. I get to the airport and everything worked out great. The ironic part is that the airport taxes where around 20 euros but still, It was great. Of course they are not giving you free booze or sandwiches =) |
